[Feature suggestion] Ability to compress manual saves while using uncompressed save for auto and exit save
Compressing ~125MB worth of data for every in-game turn makes the end-turn lag long. But for manual saves, numerous 125MB files can be unaffordable. Hence, the suggestion to treat the two differently. If one single toggle is desired, I would suggest always making auto-saves and exit-save uncompresse...

Why does more cruise acceleration result in longer transfer?
I am playing with the ship designer and notice an instance where higher cruise acceleration results in longer transfer.
Why is that?

Re: Space combat QOL
BTW, undo button, anyone?? Undo button in space combat layer and outside. Yes please. It seems most of the time it's better not to do much, just let the ships drift in the original formation and speed, apply padlock and ram as appropriate. That's not what I find at all. It makes a big difference in...

Re: Not logical aliens + bugs + feedback
in 2035 they sent 3 ships with armies on board and began to conquer countries. The first initial invasion is scripted. Either that or the minimum number of years before initial invasion is allowed; but the Servant will trigger it as soon as the minimum is past. Either way, the result forms an integ...

Re: Space combat QOL
I also noticed that almost all YouTubers move their fleets in Terra Invicta like on a flat plane. It is probably more intuitive and easier to use. They move it up a little sometimes or down a bit, but generally, their tactics pretend to be on a flat plane in 3D space. Youtubers are not necessary th...

Re: Thoughts on miltech/nation investment
The US starts at 4.7 and smaller, weaker nations start as low as 3.0, which is a gap that's functionally impossible to close. That's not quite true. The high population countries -- once stablized -- will quite readily outpace the developed but small population countries. With 80hr, you should real...

Re: Losing control points for no reason
Your particular nations are likely unrelated to aliens and the "enthall thing". They are just small and easy to flip. The fact that you don't detect agents from other factions doesn't mean they are not present. You probably needed to have different set of nations to control and review your...

Re: How does Magazine work?
I had some time to sit down and test this, with skirmish, yes. How it works right now is that a single mag doubles all missile and torpedo counts on your ship, regardless of how many mounts you have. Two magazines triples it. So, it's pretty powerful for miss-ile boats. That's good to know. Thanks!!

Re: Does fleet pursue follow orbital mechanics?
You mean they should LOWER their orbit to catch a fleet ahead of them. Depends on which way their ships are facing. Personally, I would face the nose of my fleet towards an approach fleet, fire engine then, and thus lowering speed because a pursuing fleet should approach from the same orbital orien...

Re: How does Magazine work?
Logically the magazine would kick in after combat but no idea if it's implemented like that. Of course. Now I would check the skirmish mode on my designs with magazine to see if I get more missiles, but..... I am keeping the game save loaded for as long as I am playing to avoid having to toggle pow...

This pleaseI would like the ability to select multiple ships and give them all the same command. Three commands in particular: Set primary target, change direction, set different settings for different weapons for example setting missiles to focus fire and lasers to defensive.

[Crash report] Canceling refit and then adding another ship to refit caused the game to crash
I had 2 ships under refit at one Spacework module. I cancelled them. And then selected refit on another ship (different from those 2) of either the same type of within the same upgrade chain for refit at the same module before the list of refitable ships updated in the UI. And that caused the game t...

The tooltip for Magazine utility ship module says the increase in ammo count is displayed with individual weapon modules. But I don't see any changes with Magazine installed. How does Magazine work? It says weapons with "ammo count". That means weapons with inherent "magazine" ri...

Re: Balancing Tips (after 200 h)
But that mission assignment Sisyphos horror... I'm sure that other game devs are right now working on their own take on this game concept, where they will probably fix this issue in particular. Just to comment on this point, UI improvement is really needed to explore the limit here. Right now, the ...

Re: Suggestion: Have 'powered on before' modules respect if I powered them off
sorely needed and thank goodness the power toggle doesn't reset for other modules like when a new power module is built <-- that would make the game straight-up unplayable for my current playthrough as I had to keep a good number of research modules away from Earth as backups for when aliens destroy...

Re: Turned agent succeeded mission despite of success chance is less than threshhold
I've wondered if the set % applies immediately, or to the next turn. I've tried to dynamically set this one after seeing a councilor's mission, which could be seen as OP / too much optimizing the fun out of the game In my case, the setting was done many turns ago. (But yes, dynamic setting could en...

Does fleet pursue follow orbital mechanics?
When one fleet pursues another in the pre-battle stage while orbiting a planet, do the fleets ascend to higher orbits as they expend delta V? I don't really notice any change in orbit. On earth, using 3 kps at lower earth orbit 2 should ascend to intermediate. But it didn't happen after 2 consecutiv...

I would like to suggest the addition of multi-selection in the ship refit menu.
Multi-selection is sorely needed.
(Some speed up during UI selection would be greatly appreciated too.)

Turned agent succeeded mission despite of success chance is less than threshhold
I just had a turned agent who succeeded in an Incite Unrest mission on a nation that I fully control. The success chance was 53%. Rolled 52%. And my setting was 66%.
Is that normal?

Re: Federations / unification requires clarity
As you noted, getting them back from another faction makes that faction make that nation leave the Federation, then drop the Alliance ... so instead of just having to take control and wait the short period of time to Unify, you have to wait to Ally, then wait to bring them back into the Federation,...

Re: Questions about economy
I don't think USA is optimal for early game at all. At best just good among equals. As for China, scheming early control on China can be fun but probably far from optimal. (You have to build your council around it.) In any case, neither are truly early game. You will be controlling other countries w...
