Re: Frustrated unification - Poland into Eurasian Union stymied suddenly

You need to look at the actual listing for the federation, so look at the allies and check each of them individually. I dont know if there is an easier way but one of those is unable to ally with Poland or vice versa. This includes cooldowns. If any of them are on cooldown for poland to ally with, t...

Re: Federations / unification requires clarity

I don't agree with this. If you take the USA early, it will take over your STARTING CP. However, CP in the early game rises quickly with councilors, orgs, and depending, research. If you want something optimal, I am beginning to believe a US start, dropping Canada, and then taking all the little Lat...

Re: Questions about economy

I started a new game to verify what you are saying and Canada does get CLOSE to 2 research per CP, but isn't there and the other two aren't even close. Meanwhile the USA is sitting with almost 3/CP. Maybe it takes time for these others but in that time the USA can spike WAY higher and with it being ...

Re: Questions about economy

This is so counter to everything else I have read and experienced. I usually take china or USA relatively quickly so I can control the flow of research and hold off on space until I am ready to grab the things I want as soon as they are available. I know that IP is better in small nations but, you s...

Would also be better and more appealing to dig into if we didn't have to wait for it to load.

Re: Questions about economy

So effectively, focus on getting the countries stable and economical first, with those near the equator giving boost for your early space entry. How do you do this exactly? With many small nations I feel like it will overly strain your councilors and lack the CP cap efficiency of the bigger nations ...

Re: Faction Relationships

Yeah, this confuses me. I approached a member of Humanity first. They are tolerant of me. No non-aggression option. Approached a member of the protectorate who are in-conflict with me. Non aggression option. Talked to a member of Exodus, who are at war with me. No non-aggression pact option. I dont ...

Re: [Suggestion] Elastic Turn Lengths

I do think that there are a lot of admin turns, but they are also a time to level your councilors. The first weeks are much more for a gameplay aspect to get the ball rolling. Given the cost changes, and the functional changes between those weeks, I think what you are suggesting would just add more ...

Re: Questions about economy

So, is it a better idea to nurse the economy while fixing issues with the country, or to just slam the gas on whatever the problems are so you can full focus the economy later on?

I mean... they have lost a councilor then, yeah? That's a win!

Re: Feedback

I agree with this. The game has been fantastic. The fact that it is as playable and usable as it is with how nuanced it is, demonstrates really excellent design even if it comes off a bit rough sometimes! There are so so so many things i hope other developers take from the success of this game. Than...

Re: Suggestion, make defensive missions possible between rounds

The purge mission isn't really a factor to this. You are getting the same as you always would for a purge mission. Taking a place. In what you are telling me, you are using a councilor to recon and a councilor to engage. That seems like too little to fully lockdown a country from being able to make ...

Re: Suggestion, make defensive missions possible between rounds

That leads to a problem itself though. That would become the absolute best strat for anything ever. Side A holds EU Side B holds Germany. Side A starts trying to take Germany. If they succeed, that country will no longer exist at all effectively for side B. Side B will have no ability to reclaim or ...

Re: Suggestion: Stop. Moving. My. Camera.

Same for ships and just about everything. If I click on a ship, I dont want my camera to move. I am going to use menus to make them move anyway. Why do I need to look at them. It's cinematic and cool at first but gets old.

Suggestion: Stop. Moving. My. Camera.

It adds a lot of clunkiness to the UI when you are trying to focus your efforts on a country, and you have to keep scrolling back to it. Let me click a councilor. Double click to scroll to. I beg. Makes my mid-game turns take 2x as long as I scroll back to where I was or where I wanted to be. This i...
