Yeah, I think there's certainly several ways to tweak the assault tree. The tree I made had some wonkyness for sure. I think as long as my main point with assaults, that they don't really pull their weight until TSGT, is addressed, I'd be happy with a different tree.

FYI for forge, you can also put wraith armor on your shinobi and carry the body straight through walls. I think I went into the building and back out to the evac in one turn.

Yeah I've had this exact thing when pods patrolled through fire and burned one of the members of a pod. Probably belongs in bug reports if it's not there already.

I've been getting the rulers, they show up every HQ assault. The viper showed up once, got away, came back at full health, was able to kill him second try. HQ assault after that, berserker queen who also escaped. I just wish they showed up a little bit more.

I think what he's really saying is not when you break concealment, but when you break concealment AND some pods get activated, in which case, yes they do automatically know where every one of your soldiers are.

This would be a good QOL mod, but in lieu of that you can always hit the sort button and sort by class to have an easier time counting how many of each class you have.

I'm using, it's working, and my MAX_ANGLE_PENALTY=0.0 is actually equal to 80, so:

MAX_ANGLE_PENALTY=80.0

Maybe this is doing it? Otherwise you're probably editing the wrong ini file. Also an important note, aiming angles does not benefit aliens. :\

More logical, maybe. But the current system is better gameplay. As other people have stated better than I, it's stacking penalties on top of penalties.
