Infiltration doesn't slow down, so 200% takes exactly twice as long as 100%. The benefits come more slowly after 100% though. There are only 3 breakpoints (including 200%) past 100%, whereas there are 12 breakpoints before 100%. It would be nice if you didn't have to do the math though. Thanks for ...

[SUGGESTION] show max infiltration % when choosing squad
:idea: Pretty simple: in the squad loadout screen before starting infiltration, show the maximum infiltration % I can reach if I wait until the mission expires, not just the number of days to 100% infiltration. It would be great to be able to easily tell if I can take a Shinobi instead of a Grenadie...

Isn't the extremely wide damage range already kinda do that? Not really. In terms of giving a wider variance of damage dealt, maybe, but a wide graze range makes you more likely to actually hit, even if it's for minimal damage. If there's an ayy with only 1-2 HP left, that may be a very nice thing ...

Don't they have a naturally higher crit chance? That serves the same function in that it can upgrade a miss to a graze or a graze to a full hit. Might be redundant. Good point, I already managed to forget that crit can upgrade a miss. But on the flip side a wider graze range would also make it more...

Since shotguns shoot a relatively wide spray of pellets (depending on what ammo you use) rather than a narrow stream of bullets, I feel like it would be easier to hit with a few pellets rather than miss entirely, and conversely it would be easier to miss with a few pellets rather than get a solid hi...

Thanks for the replies! Looks like I'll have to swallow my pride and bump the difficulty down to Veteran. No way I'm doing Rookie to get those reinforcement flares, I want to play it the way it's meant to be played

Difficulty relative to vanilla
I can't wait to try Long War 2, but considering it's a much greater time investment I'd rather get the difficulty just right the first time. Would you say Long War 2 is harder or about the same as vanilla XCOM 2? Particularly on Commander. Thanks!
