AFAIK only smoke/flash are support. I believe this is mentioned in the description for Rapid Deployment, but I might be mistaken.

JL browses a lot but rarely posts anyway - I imagine most of his time spent working on LW2-related stuff is for 1.2 prep.

If you install this Longwar2 mod, would it be possible to have all the extra content be just a setting so that people that want to see the difference can just switch it off? That'd explain what was up with those two Sectoid Commanders in my last AVATAR Facility raid, then. The camera would jump to them, then to a corpse; nothing would happen, and their turn would end.

Which is odd, since there were plenty of (valid) ADVENT corpses around for them to reanimate too.

The Lost Towers is a great and easy mission though, totally worth running some troops through. Depends when you get into it, in my experience. It was accidentally flagged as unbuildable in the release. Check the resolved bugs forum for a thread that should have a workaround (along with me barking up the wrong tree at least twice) to let you build more.

Yes. They have been since Vanilla. Vanilla had 2-4 connections; LW2 increases that to 3-4 and also adds several new ones.

I believe the hard cap is 3. SPARKs are kind of an exception because some of their abilities are granted by their BIT or their inherent archetype instead of being 'class' perks.

Again, gonna need to see the proper perklist for this guy. If they really can't do anything then I'm guessing it's a mod conflict of some description, because I've never seen any behaviour like this myself.
