Most of the feedback I agree with, but you're just completely off the mark about offensive grenadiers. They are fine, they are great. I use them a lot. I feel Rangers are *mostly* fine. They Overwatch very well with Grazing/RR, and Walk Fire is a nifty utility tool. Another part of it is that the AI will *always* move when flanked by a visible enemy. Suppress, then move someone into a flank. Do the 1.2 changes only apply to new soldiers, or to existing soldiers who haven't yet revealed their upper level perks? So, we know the reworked hit mechanics mean dodge counters crit and vice versa....

I think Psi Ops definitely need a reduction in tank-time. But I think a bigger problem is their lack of a consistent iconic ability. I don't know if this is possible coding wise or not but could you not have it empty your clip on your opponent (similar to the codex disarm thing), essentially requiring a full clip to use and forcing a reload after using it no matter how much ammo you have by default? As long as you can reload and hail, i don't see how it even matters. You don't really need to move to a better position when you auto-hit so unless you just got your cover blown away, all it does is prevent you from moving and suppressing the next turn.
