I have to agree here. Something feels way off about enemy hits, they are hitting WAYYYY more shots under cover even when suppresed AND flash banged. Also, the only reliable way to take out the big guys like Muton Centurions, Muton Elites, Berserkers etc.. is to have an assault ready to close in with a laser sighted shotgun. Leaving those guys alive is a sure way to get a soldier killed, even in full cover.

Oof, it was so bad in 1.0 I couldn't use it though I wanted to. On the one hand, I'm excited for what must be buffs coming down the line for the fireman tree. On the other hand, my existing fireman technical makes me so unbelievably sad.

The most disturbing thing about the new flamethrower is its inability to hit enemies one tile in front of you. Happens so often with enemies behind cover around the corner.

Encountered the same bug. A drone stunned my soldier then a sectoid mind-controlled him. My shinobi cut the sectoid down freeing the soldier, but after he took his actions, he was unavailable the turns after.

Found the problem. It's the More Cities mod. Others are commenting on the mod that it is causing the same problem for them.

This has been a problem for me as well. At least as far as sharpshooters, rangers, and technicals go. Do you get all the corpses in a "clear the area" mission, or is it a chance to get the corpse? I also have the advent officer autopsy mission, but no advent officer corpse or research option. I've long since completed the trooper autopsy, so it's odd that I don't at least have the research...

How do enemy turns work?

I was playing a rescue mission and while I was getting ready for evac, during the enemy's turn a pod discovered me. Is it normal for them to shoot me upon discovery instead of scattering and giving me a turn to set up?

True Concealment is said to have a similar mechanic in LW2, but I don't think that's the case. TC stops the timer countdown while under concealment and unless there is an option that I missed, LW2 concealment timers operate exactly like vanilla.
