Re: Explosives on the ceiling
I appreciate the explanation LordYanaek and all. Good to know I'm not alone in this bug. Rekt is right, those heavy rocketeer rockets HURT! I get that voxels would make performance grind to halt. Maybe some sort of bounding box that defined the space inside as solid? I wonder if the clipping that oc...

Explosives on the ceiling
Picture it, the squad has finally cleared the top of a large plateau from a mass of pods. The aliens are milling around at the base of the plateau drawing straws to see who has to go up the vine ladders and face the overwatch fire. Suddenly, the ground under my soldiers feet explodes as if from a ro...

Re: LW 2 - Linux & Mac
Still crashes after first missions load screen. Play is fine, loading mission complete/avenger is bugged. @danswill Have you tried reverifying the source from Steam? That's what cleared up this bug for me. I think there were some issues getting the videos/textures loaded. Also, make sure you have t...

Re: LW 2 - Linux & Mac
The new version of longwar seems to be much more stable on Mac. Nice work Pavonis, you are crushing bugs left and right. I haven't gotten any hard crashes or lockups playing a bunch of missions today. The loading screen issue seems to be resolved. The only one that I have gotten a few times is where...

Re: LW 2 - Linux & Mac
@blackpeanutbudda: go to folder steamapps > common > XCOM 2 > XCOM2 DATA > xcomgame > config and delete all files (the refferenced .ini's); then go to your Steam library, right click on XCOM 2, then select properties, LOCAL FILES tab, anf Verify Integrity on Game Files... it will notice those exclu...

Re: LW 2 - Linux & Mac
@blackpeanutbudda You can do this in Finder. Here's the trick: on the Mac, there are two places where you find the game .ini files (and a lot of the other game files). One is the Steam Folder where the default (original) game files are stored. Those .ini files all begin with the word default and are...

Re: LW 2 - Linux & Mac
I've gotten about 7-8 missions in. Some crashes - XCom 2 has never been that stable for me anyway... My most common way of getting stuck is that when I load a save game, I don't get the loading splash screen. The thrumming music just runs endlessly. I have a feeling the new load screens aren't getti...

Re: LW 2 - Linux & Mac
Being impatient, I did the following to get it going on Mac: 1. Removed all other mods (except Evac all) 2. Regenerated the .ini files 3. Reverified back to source using steam 4. Copied the XComGame.upk and XComGame.upk.uncompressed_size files from the mod folder to the /Library/Application Support/...
