Snapshot bug?

I ended up with a 16 move Sharpshooter and decided to give Snapshot a go. Snapshot description reads that you can take a standard shot or standard sniper rifle overwatch after moving, but it's not letting me overwatch. Is the text wrong, or is this a bug?

I too have only ever seen 1 damage per and I have been using it a lot. I've seen guys get burning but not sure that came directly from the attack. Might have come from them walking through a tile it set on fire after.

AWC will not in fact award a perk that is already in their skill tree. I'm curious to see how that may change in 1.2. From the patch notes: - AWC cross-training restrictions reconfigured to exclusively use perk triggers (rather than currently bugged class restrictions). Should see a lot more option...

I've had those almost-never-saw-ADVENT missions too. On the large maps, just running from ingress to the jail to the evac can take most of the time limit. I don't really think the purpose of stealth in the base game or long war is so you can avoid all combat in missions. Will reproduceable save files still help at this point?

I spent several hours trying to test load/save/reload/quit game/reload last night and could not get it to reproduce for 2 PCS on 2 different characters...

Today I loaded up my save and they've both lost their PCS...

What is "covertness?" An infiltration modifier I assume? yeah, same thing that makes SMGs take less infiltration time and cannons take more, etc. Its odd to see it expressed as a percentage so small and to have higher be better: I would have assumed a base number that gets reduced by modi...

@3dahs - definitely a vanilla bug of some sort. Even observed on PS4. Main observation/comment: Bug only appears to manifest on certain soldiers, but for those soldiers it WILL manifest consistently. At least as far as I can tell. This was the case in my last campaign in which I tracked every soldier who ever got a PCS - out of 26 soldiers I observed, only 4 of them ...

If you want to do it a bit more manually just make a copy of your save game folder just before/as you launch each mission. Leaves you the option to go back and redo that mission, or choose to abort it.

Long and short is a number of abilities intended to show up in the AWC aren't.
