Any overwatch based soldier should have a PCS chip that requires a 50% chance or better before they fire. Building an overwatch soldier without one of those chips is just asking for sadness. There is a bug in vanilla that is made more apparent with LW2. There is a mod that fixes this bug that has been out for soom time, but it really should be wrapped up into this Overhaul.

Now this is not my language, but it seems to be randomizing a number up to 100 and then doing a less than check. Which means even with a 100 chance, you could still fail if the number randomized was a 100 due to it not being a less than or equal to check.

AFAIK, none of the AWC pistol perks affect the sawed off shotgun. If I am incorrect in this thinking, then I would very much like to be enlightened.8wayz wrote:Combined with some good AWC perk for pistols, that soldier can give the aliens a lot of trouble, especially if they get close enough.

Having 2 fully trained officers in each squad sounds like a ton of time training via only 2 training slots. What if instead you only did the first officer level for your second-in-command. I'm thinking have the specialist/medic be the primary officer and a sharpshooter/holo/gunslinger be the seconda...

I had a jailbreak with a rookie and 2 rebels. When I broke them out the rookie never came under my control and was considered lost when I was forced to evac.

Also there is an ini setting for showing all the officer perks in the XComLW_OfficerPack.ini
I turned this one on before I started so I'm not sure if it is overridden by the ingame option for class perks
