I don't really thing flashbangs are overpowered. They can be with Sting Grenades / Grenadiers, but thats more of the backbone of the support grenadier.

I will say late game grenades feel undertuned though.

The capstone level bonus got rolled into the officer/squad bonus', so there's still reasons to take them on missions, just with the same officers.

If haven missions werent so tedious after the first 10, it wouldn't be so bad. Definitely could use some variety up in there. Maybe a pre-emptive attack? I mean, if I have 5 guys with 30% aim shots and only 1 enemy priority remaining, ill shoot at him 5 times.

That said, if you stack flashbangs + suppression, there aim is around 10%. So. Red fog on top of that is usually enough to put it in the negatives.

Playstyle may factor in as well. If you're used to using explosive to strip armor off of pods, then the point of penetration on the coilguns is moot and plasma is fully superior. With the system as designed, I don't think infiltration and supply raids can coexist. There's too much reward involved not to cheese the map because of how frustrating resource gain is overall.

Either the mission needs to be redesigned, or infiltration removed as a modifier on it.

Personally, I've had to pick up true concealment to balance out the constant frustration with timers vs big pods. And even then, the resource grind really makes me he head desk sometimes.
