I had another bug on this campaign where I would sometimes get a 1-hit KO on the objective in the "enemies trying to retake liberated region" mission. I would take a single shot (usually with a shotgun) and the objective would blow up even though the damage indicated was ~1/3 of its HP. I ...

Agreed. Since assigning and recalling advisers is a zero-cost action there is no point in restricting interactions with them. I would even go as far as let them do everything (go on missions or place in special training with a "removing adviser" warning, change gear and the like).

Accurate Swords seems to be compatible, but since Long War 2 is a new mod it gets loaded after AC. I'm assuming the values are overridden twice, resulting in Long War 2 values being used.

If you load AC after LW2 it should work... Right?
