Re: Pop Vigilance when civilians are killed by XCOM
One alternative I'v been thinking about for awhile is that having the civilian population on your side is core to a underground resistance movement. And gathering intel on missions for the infiltration could be affected by killing civi's. In essence kill alot of civi's and they are less reproachable...

These kind of posts I at first thought were funny, but now they bother me. The dev team I assume also no longer find them funny. Give it a rest guys.

This, plus have some self respect, whining that the devs are not doing it fast enough for your liking when your getting their product for free is beyond me.Sporadix wrote:I really want to play it too, but geez, have some dignity.
It'll be uploaded when it's finished.

Re: AP Rounds vs reworked Stiletto, Flechette and Needle Rounds [balance]
I really like the 1.3 changes to ammo. I think we would need to play out the new ammo and test it personally before we start instagating additional buffs to ammo we have never used. Lets trust in the devs and play testers. Or maybe I'm an Ethereal or a Cylon. Who knows?

Re: Peek from concealment
Well, the mod works perfectly fine with LW2 right now and all, so I'd recommend using it. You're allowed to do that, you know: Use mods to make the game more catered to your desires. :P Also, are you Stefan from SA? If so, I remember you from back in about 2000 kicking my ass at Sacrifice and then ...

Re: Thoughts on the 1.3 changes
Good Lord, please quit all the exaggerating and whining already. Support Grenadier just went from "King of the Battlefield" to "Asset to the Team". He's far from useless even with that FB nerf. FBs are OP as hell currently. Just wait and see the actual impact on the tactical gam...

Re: Are Flashbangs overpowered
I also feel flashbangs are op. You get them at the start of the game, and they are aoe disorientate grenades. They are a one trick pony that is used as a crutch because they are so so powerful, they are a tool like anything else, but for their power they should probably be a mid game research tier w...

From my own experience I'v found that protecting the datatap itself is forfeit. You go on the mission to rescue the intel personal.

Campaign starting bonuses.
Was really hoping to inquire if 1.3 would bring the return of the unique starting bonuses, as I'm guessing they wouldn't be super hard to code, relative to other changes, and they added quite a cool strategy you could play for the early and mid game. I myself, picked a new bonus with each long war 1...

Re: Upcoming Flamethrower Improvements
Will this change be automatically updated if the Long War 2 mod was attained from the stream workshop? I'm really looking forward to this change, but not at the cost of corrupting the save file.
