Even when you knew you were outmatched, like raiding an early transport ship? Losing the Meld didn't mean losing the mission. ...

Do dark events expire? I've had some going for a couple months now and they seem to just keep accumulating, except for one-offs like 'UFO Hunts the Avenger' which ends when you complete the Avenger Defense Mission

Doesn't solve the problem tho: enemies still won't drop loot

Note: replaying the mission, I realized that the scope and stock I acquired were found with the mission objective in a hackable chest, not dropped by enemies.
