Wait, the free flashbangs/smokes perks aren't free? That's dumb. I could've just brought another flashbang in the soldier's slots instead of spending days in the tank.

So after my blunder with the Nanomedikit project, I was just wondering what projects are people prioritizing? There are so many choices and ammo types, which ones are you guys finding most useful or useless?

I have a question about how the faceless intel works. If I swap soldiers or just take him off for gear checks etc. does that reset the faceless intel bucket? Also, if I'm leaking supplies, does that mean the faceless has to be in one of the regions where I have ppl on supplies? Or can faceless steal...

We already have pods so closely packed together that they can patrol into you while you're already under fire. That was the bad luck mechanic in LW1, and it did it's job well. Now we have that, plus free, full squad flanks on top of it. The total of the two is just too much of a coin flip at presen...

I was referring more to the mid-game. I have had good success with 5 man squads in the early game where you can one or two shot most enemies. I'm starting to find that sending 4-6 man squads to missions to be unfeasible. You either send 2-3 men to sneak to the objective, or you're doing 8-10 men huge firefights. 4-6 men squads are too big to stealth successfully but not enough firepower to kill things quickly. Having the game tell you which DE a counter-DE mission is stopping would also really be helpful. The one that came up for me last night told me which de it was for. Maybe you didn't identify yours? If the kill VIP mission is a Lib3, you still activate Lib4, so it's not totally nothing. But that +1 to contact region limit is super useful though.

I find I'm taking a lot of support grenadiers on my "sneak and complete objective" missions where I am forced to take a small squad. There is almost always a pod or two guarding the objectives and trying to fight them with 4 dudes takes way too long, especially with possible reinforcements...

My suggestion wouldn't make this impossible, I don't suggest that picking up should take 2 AP. However, you would only have gotten one move instead of dash after picking up the VIP, which I find quite reasonable. Three moves, a knockout and a pickup in the same turn sounds a bit OP to me, even when...

This makes it even more difficult to kidnap VIPs though since knocking them out also takes an action. In my last Lib3 mission, I was able to move, punch, have my leader Command my puncher who then picks up VIP and run out of a sticky situation. Impossible to do if pick up isn't free.
