I would also really love a standalone squad menu mod. After LW2, the base game feels empty without it. I gave up on the bondmate BS a few weeks in. It is a nightmare trying to remember the pairs. However, if they were assigned to the same squad, it would be easy.

I like infiltration better.

I don't see why you can't just keep both though. Infiltration is squad based. Fatigue is soldier based.

I like to edit the weapondata to increase the range and radius of the grenade launchers a bit. The default setting imo are ridiculous because they are only a few tiles more than a person can throw.

Increasing the value to something that feels like a 'launch' make the class a lot more fun to use.

To me there's no question there's dev work to integrate lw2 with wotc. If there wasn't pavonis wouldn't be contracturaly obligated to stay silent. There would be no contract to silence them. A lot of nice improvements for WotC, but I am already missing the squad system from LW2. It is 10000000x better than the two person mate system they put in WotC.

I personally think we should be able to drop 10 engineers in a liberated territory and put them to work making widgets.

Seems a bit silly to me to only be able to put 1 guy (soldier/scientist/engineer) in a territory.

I'm kind of curious: given that the prevailing opinion of a lot of the posters in this thread seems to be that to win missions you need a 100% accuracy, high-damaging attack that automatically disables its target for a turn, what do you guys do when you don't have them? Remember that LW2 is a mod. Nothing sacred about it. You can mod the mod.

Personally I will mod it to have 100% fire effect (burn over time), and remove the automatic inability to take a turn. If I am feeling ambitious and want to spend another 30 seconds on it, I will add a % chance to panic.

So it turns out that the Chosen, ancient enemies of the Etherials, speak English!!!! Now it makes perfect sense why the Etherials attacked Earth.

Yes. That is it exactly. I disabled the liberate mod and the problem went away. I think they fixed the mod now though.

Problem is solved.

There are lots of cool mods that add new jobs to Havens, but I would stay clear of them for a while.

Looks like this is being caused by a mod that adds a liberate job to Havens.

FYI, I remembered I added a mod that adds a 'liberate' job to havens. Checking the comments for that mod, it appears that others are seeing this problem too. I will disable the mod and see if the problem goes away.

I got to mid July with no bugs. LW1.3. I get a new mission brief for a mission with 1 day. After review I instantly get another with 1 day and this repeats until every single country has granted me a 1 day mission. Very strange. Thank you. I use a separate mod launching program that shows conflicts. I carried over all of my mods from vanilla and it didn't show a conflict for this one. It's always nice to trim the list.

I am curious to know what rewards you guys get for this mission.

For mine I get absolutely nothing and the summary screen where it usually lists the items just says "hello".

I am however, running about 60 mods, so one of them is probably causing this.
