Radio Tower Assaults

I think it'd be a cool idea (and make sense) for advent to, very rarely, make a mission in an attempt to assault and destroy a rebellion radio tower in a region that has a large amount of vigilance. Just another addition to Long War 2s already impressive map pool.

Mag Weapons researched instantly?

After I finished my first HQ Assault, i checked my research and it said Mag Weapons could be researched instantly. So I did that, and then Advanced Mag Weapons got completed instantly also! Does anyone know why?

Just found out why it happens. Apparently, when the Scout throws a battle scanner, or when a soldier shoots an enemy from full cover, they step on tile to the side before doing the action. So, when my Scout threw the battle scanner, that one tile step was enough to get in vision range of the cyberdi...

It should just be a setting on the soldier, not a bandaid taking up a resource slot. Edit: Wait, what? Scopes? The attachment that makes you actually hit the target? The motion tracker is what you're talking about. In my LW1 campaign I have 2 of them each mission, it makes the encounters much more bearable.

Why the hell did battle scanner activate the pod?

My last move of the turn was my Scout's, and he threw a battle scanner to reveal a pod i detected with my Assault's motion detector. Lo and behold, it was a Cyberdisk and 2 drones. I ended my turn, and for some reason they activated. And killed 2 civs and my Gunner. Why.

After. Shredding is not really worth it as very few enemies have enough armor and HP to make them more than 2-3 shot kills. Bump. I still make crit snipers because of the damage they deal, but ive stopped taking kubikiri because it has never worked.

I don't think that Ammo needs that random system again. Remember also that LW1 and even EU-EW had such thing like early SCOPE to boost aim for your soldiers. I skipped Laser Weapons and went straight for Magnetic Weapons. The damage boost was very nice, it let me power through 2 liberation chains quite easily.
