Corpse retrieval works "per mission" and not "per unit". So any mission where you can retrieve corpses does not have reinforcements. Otherwise you would be able to get hundreds of corpses by farming them. Hence why there are only a few mission types where you can get the corpses...

@ seananigans - You are overlooking Reinforcements. Missions where you can collect loot and cadavers do not have Reinforcements turned on, for a good reason. It will be almost impossible to reconcile both mechanics - having more collect missions and still viable Reinforcements that could not be far...

New recruits into liberated regions may also contain faceless. While I have no problem with existing faceless remaining upon liberation, I do wish this part wouldn't remain true. As a PSA, don't take Strike with Bulwark, you've give enemies high cover as you melee them. I have that combo and it's not an issue if you plan properly. Either be sure the strike will kill or at least position the SPARK so it won't provide cover against your soldiers if the strike misses or fails ...

Somewhat related, does anyone know if X2 has the functionality for multiple time scales for scanning, ala the original UFO Defense? I'd love a 1x, 2x, 4x, 10x etc toggle for scanning (in that example, current speed would probably land somewhere around 10, cause damn it moves fast).
