Sounds interesting. Right now the will stat doesn't seem to be of much use. Sounds like what is described could use some rebalancing, but it sounds like a good idea. And some of the perks should help reduce will loss.

I wish there was a way to use the double barrel shotgun instead of the arch thrower with a slow assault solidier. Then you can use the rifle most of the time, but run and gun for the occasional high powered shot.

- I don't buy XCOM2 until longwar2 came out.
- I also bought both all expansions to add to the longwar2 experience e

I would also not buy war of the chosen until it is adapted by lw2.

I wish retaliations had more of the feel of longwar1 base attacks. There you had blue shirt security guards, who were level 1 rookies essentially, who help defend against the attack. Grenades only need to be slightly inaccurate, so that if one of you solidier's is standing just at the edge, there is always a chance they could get hit. They really just need one tile of scatter chance. That would make them accurate enough, while not having them be so ridiculously pinpoint accurate...

The xp percentage should be on all XP earned and not just kill XP. I'm pretty much certain you're wrong here. The fact is I don't find supply 0%l hard, just tedious. I wish the enemies were just harder instead of more numerous. I do think on 0% - The aliens are all ready for you and are wearing full body armor. (Extra Hp and damage reduction) - All aliens start off activated in the mission. - any XCOM invis...

My main problem with the ranger class is if you end up with a ranger that has low aim. It is the only class that seems useless in such a scenario. At least with a sharpshooter, you can make him into a holo-targeter. I will likely be modifying my Ranger tree to add in options such as rapid deployment...
