I just had my first UFO defense and I didn't get the impression that the turrets are super useful. They shot at the enemy about 2 times and got shot 1 time. This popped up in another thread, but my suggestion is this- open up some more spots for Engineers to sit in the Defense Matrix. Further upgrades give stronger turrets; at max Engineers it should be similar to those Health 14, Armor 3 monstrosities you fight later on. That should give you an excuse ...

Regarding engineers, I'd like to see more slots open up in the Defense Matrix. Either add more turrets or start upgrading them to those bonkers Heavy Turrets you see sometimes.

Well, never underestimate guaranteed damage; I know that the Psi Amp boosts damage by +1 per upgrade, but so far I'm pretty high up in the tech tree and can't access it yet. Given that it can only attack Organics it could very well use an across-the-board damage buff or other debuff bonus.

Regarding Soulsteal- it's currently a never-pick, mostly because aliens are too deadly. By the time you get the chance to use Soulfire + Soulsteal to any effect, your PsiOps is probably already dead. My suggestion is that if you use Soulfire while at full health, instead of healing, it generates abl...
