I do mostly agree with you, OP. While I'm not a fan of always feeling pressure, WotC has taken out too much of the pressure and is indeed to easy in the late game. This actually gets even more ridiculous because you can actually get a perk with the reaper to give them a utility slot and have them equip a proximity mine so you can just throw both with your reaper, grenade the claymore and then watch whatever survived the claymore/grenade combo die to the mine....

Use the claymore and then throw a grenade at the claymore. Will deal damage for both and usually kills everything in the pod unless it has over 20 hp. If they are sitting next to a car or barrel or one of the units in the pod is a purifier then they will be hit by 3 explosives which usually does 15...

Mini-retaliations are the 3 missions where advent creates a mission in your haven based on a specific job. Basically datatap, recruiting, and supply are the 3 mini-retaliations. if you fail those missions or let the datatap/rebels die, you get a one month lockout on being able to perfrom those spec...

WOTC is bringing a ton of new features, so it's a bit different but I agree that it will probably be an option you activate or not. Still that doesn't mean that this will be two applications, so core game will get a big patch at WOTC release and Steam won't let you the choice but the last version. ...

Okay, thanks for the info guys, there was a lot of new stuff in it for me. Especially the fact that helping rebels can be facelkess themself is just super weird. I'd say the exact opposite. Bring 2 Shinobis. Leave them concealed for as long as you can. They are the eyes of your snipers. Speaking of which - bring snipers.
