SMGs are per definition in the "rifle" weapon category and therefore can't be treated differently than ARs or the Bowcaster. If you are talking about the Shinobi Brigadier skill, it's just a regular Serial, applying to kills with your primary weapon.

The mission consists of a squad that needs to make its way to a console to hack the network tower which will turn off the reinforcement timer before eliminating all enemies on a the map.

From the wiki. I guess it says as much on the mission objectives as well.

Similar behaviour as not activated sectoids, i think. Ayy sees a corpse... reanimates. Gatekeeper has just a very nasty way to do so.

The main issue is how Squadsight works though. It checks for the perk, not the weapon, so technically you should still be able to use a SMG with Squadsight. You will have to test it and see how it works. I bet it works like this. On an SMG the penalties on large distnaces are huge, though. Wouldn't...

That Facility Lead could have been from the Intel Package mission reward. IP either results in a POI or a Facility Lead (rarely)

You can do that all by yourself: add +AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="rifle") in the xcomclassdata.ini where the sharpshooter is. Note that this will allow him to use SMGs and ARs together with squadsight and while the SMG range table drops aim at long distance...

In fact, it's not "friendly" environment, as you don't retrieve any corpses after the mission. Bleeding out soldiers should nontheless be stabilized and carried away, imho.

Afaik, with 1.1 the possible appearance of the Nest POI is tied to Forcelevel 12, which means roughly November. But you still need an Intel Package to have a chance to spawn it.
Is there another bug i'm not aware of?

You mean Deadshot. Deadeye is the perk that grants you a powerful attack with reduced aim.

You have to find a facility lead. These can be intel packages or through skullmining or a hack reward. Iirc.

It can be used for a nice ambush just like the flamethrower, where the enemy patrols in your direction. Just hide the trooper in the enemies path and spring the trap once they are in range. Or run 'n gun when the enemy has clumped behind cover

This is working as intended. Without the lead, you would have never learned about that facility in the first place. They changed that from vanilla. You still need to make contact first, though.

That is probably because it draws an additional RNG roll by taking two actions (blue move, fleche) against one (yellow fleche). Whenever a voiced line is drawn ("Affirmative", "On the double" etc.) there's an rng roll involved.

If i recall correctly, this is due to the travel time the skyranger takes to drop the squad. At this point, the mission is in an inconsistent state, because it expired. There is a consolecommand to get them back, if i remember correctly. here

This happened a lot to people who tried to use the standalone LW mods together with LW2, but i guess you sortet that one out already.
