Basic melee attacks are allowed, but special attacks are not. Depends, greatly, on what stage of the game, and also on whether the squad is focused on certain kinds of missions or kept generalist. Technicals are indespensible early but mediocre in late game, for example. And it could matter if you have a plan for builds. Think about the builds you know you wan...
