So what do you think about having an extra trait on rapid holotargeting? Add "Can equip SMGs/rifles." I just added rifles to the sharpshooter class in the ini files (which also adds SMGs.) Then I equip my holo-sharps ("spotters") with either rifles or SMGs and my regular snipers with sniper rifles....

Johnny you are killing me. I know you can't legally tell us If the game will be updated/compatible with LW2. The base game just isn't the same without your guys flavor to it. Its like eating popcorn without butter it's okay but the butter makes it pop. No what makes it pop is the heat. Touche ;)

What do you mean about the "random"? Everyone has the same map, mobs, soldiers, time, gear, etc etc... I think he means the RNG (Random Number Generation.) Two players use essentially the same tactics to score an ideal win, but one player gets screwed over by RNG - missing 90% shots left and right,...

Rescuing rebels in retaliations is the same as rescuing civvies in the first game's terror missions: Your objective is to rescue the unarmed squishies, but your tactics should focus on killing all the aliens before they have too many (read: any) chances to fire. A third case is related to enemies seen from a soldier in conceal mode, an a soldier not in conceal mode. You'll probably need someone to update the English Long War 2 UFOPaedia before you start translating it. The current webpage appears to be out of date (for example, there's no mention of the new Smash n Grab mission type added in 1.3/1.4)

Carry a mindshield for all frontline is quite a burden. I agree that putting a mindshield on every soldier would be excessive.
