I think at the very least they should change the reinforcement to stop once you hack the tower. Lib4 is way harder than all the other missions on the Lib chain. If you want to complain about design decisions, please note that some of the connections between different regions are random, so you might be forced to go the long way if the Blacksite appears on the other side of the globe. So does Codices reduce all stun duration to Stun 1? Coz at least for the Tower mission, everyone else is stunned for 2 turn (Stun 4).

So I've been thinking, is Sapper redundant after you've taken Combat Engineer? If I take CE, is there any reason I shouldn't just retrain away my Sapper perk.

Are stuns on Codices suppose to wear off immediately? On a Network tower where I stunned all enemies and on an earlier mission where I stunned one with a stun sword, the stun goes away immediately on the alien's turn for the codex and she was able to take at least one action. Blue circles around haven rebels disappearing

So on the retaliation missions, the blue circles around all my haven rebels are disappearing once I activate any of them. Makes it kinda hard to search for them on a dark and burning map. Saving and reloading doesn't help. Has anybody ran into the same problem? Is it a bug or mod conflict?

Well that's good to know. I should have an easier time on my next Lib3. In vanilla, killing didn't net you the intel. So, I assume it's the same way. In this case, the intel is likely paltry compared to the lead reward, so yeah you probably can just kill them. I just wasn't sure if unlocking Lib4 w...

Lib 3 Kill or Capture VIP

So for Lib 3 where you have to kill or capture the VIP, do you have to capture him to activate Lib 4? Or is killing him enough?

I had to sacrifice 2 soldiers on this mission last night to capture the VIP, whereas I think I would have been able to get everyone out if all I have to do is kill him.
