We had a lively internal discussion over aiming angles. I've never been a big fan of them to begin with. I don't recall the particulars, but we noted there are some wonky edge cases when they are turned on, so I made the call to turn them off entirely.

Thanks for following up -- that's good to know. Whether it can be made compatible is generally up to the Playable Aliens modders, although they are welcome to contact us if there's some kind of hook we can put in Long War 2 to make it work.

This is how it works. Read the perk detail by hitting the yellow question mark in the perk tree.

We have 10 brackets, running at 10% increments. There is some overlap and RNG, but it's not extreme.

When you evac via Skyranger you don't get bodies. Archives and first-mission text refer to this. Only a limited set of missions provide corpses.

@OP We investigated this and determined your version of the base game is not updated to the latest patch, Changelist 234736, which we call "Patch 7." Long War 2 has no chance of working with your version of the game. Patch 7 should download automatically if you connect to Steam with a reta...

It's probably possible to get the length down, but there isn't a single switch to do this. You'd need to modify the avatar timer, the economy and a bunch of other things -- the infiltration system is predicated on a more granular campaign. Regenerate your inis = delete config folder.

Per the troubleshooting steps, you'll need to remove all mods, verifiy back to vanilla state, regenerate your inis, then add back Long War 2 and see if it persists. If it doesn't, you can add back mods one by one until you reproduce it. If it does, let us know and we'll try to dig deeper.

I would assume a mod conflict. Pull all the mods, regenerate your inis, start a campaign, and see if it persists. If it does, verify files back to vanilla, reinstall Long War, and see if it persists. If it does we'll take a closer look. If it doesn't, add the mods back one by one until you reproduce...
