The problem with shadow strike on a shinobi is that it's on the same rank as evasive and evasive is super hilariously strong. (Especially combined with the rest of the defensive tree)

I think xwynns subtly mentioned in one of his videos that they are increasing mission duration timers across the board, allowing for better infiltration timers and more varied size groups. That's not exactly the same thing as making them easier to detect, but still has a healthier outcome in genera...

I agree that they need to be easier to detect. I proposed a solution in an other thread which I think works out pretty well. Just stating that I don't think dropping hints down to 8 will make all that much of a difference.

Grenade dots are an effect of the grenade and so are effected by grenade perks.

Ammo is separate from the pistol and applies only to the base effect. (Bonus damage rounds should not increase damage on a crit either).

So the only way to increase damage from venom rounds is to rupture.

Shinobi also get rapid fire if that is what you're referring to (otherwise no, Rangers cannot move and fire twice). Common save game bug. This is why you see "don't turn this machine off" warnings in everything. Saves are usually written at once, by wiping and then rewriting the file. A crash between turns as the file is being saved will result in a blank save file. GG. This is why I don't play ironman

Give an all ranger run a try. The biggest issue you will find us that RNG involving them is crazy. Well kind of. An all ranger run would have problems with stealth and timed combat missions. But otherwise would perform better than your expect. The reason for this is something that doesn't work well...
