One detail of the system that may not be immediately apparent is that reflex actions can only happen when aliens activate on *their* turn. If you activate them on *your* turn they don't get reflex actions. Just an FYI.

it works like a regular overwatch, where if they have an adjacent tile they can move to that's out of los to the gunner, they can move there freely without getting shot at. Trench Gun makes a Standard Shot (using your aim, subtracting cover etc) at every highlighted enemy in the cone. You can definitely miss with it, Perfect Information is confused.
Street Sweeper on the other hand cannot miss and has a larger AoE, which is why it's a MGST perk.

SMG basically serves this function (without breaking soldier animations and abilities xD ).

If you leave the soldier there for a while, you'll get to the bottom of it.
Higher ranked soldiers will be more effective. In the meantime, you might try shifting rebels a bit more towards Intel and Recruit, at least until you have resolved the issue. Good luck Commander!

This is almost definitely related to the other bugs you were experiencing from an unknown mod (or set of mods) messing with your Avenger times for stuff.

Yeah. I should mention that I'm also very much still learning how to stealth mission. Just failed another one tonight where I accidentally revealed my Specialist and then he got critted through smoke and the Shinobi barely got out alive. Stealth missions are hard. O_o

The POI to unlock the Rulers mission should be able to spawn similarly to other POIs (upon completing a mission with "Intel Package" as a reward). Do you remember if you've had any of those missions since the weapons POI?

Readiness is a textified way of saying "your infiltration has modified the Base Activity for this mission in this way". The "Current Activity" tells you what the results are at any given time of that modification.

In general when you complete the objective of a mission, concealment will be broken. It can be handy to have an evac already set up nearby to help these soldiers survive - check out Xwynns' new LW2 series, episode 2, for a really good example of a well done stealth mission.

No intentional mechanic regarding "hearing" was implemented that I know of in the way that you're talking about (though weapons and explosives do have sound ranges that'll alert nearby pods if they hear them fired). If you have a save that can reliably demonstrate this behavior, I bet they...

Havens only produce supplies if you set rebels in them to the Supply job - then it's (nominally) one supply per day per rebel. Evac timers are the big reason to go over 100% infil - 150% and 190% reduce them by 1 each (200% for the second one after 1.1 patch).
