The Blacksite isn't timed so you can take as much time to sneak as you want. Once you blow concealment, you have 10 turns till 8-men reinforcements arrive. I'm more of a "Reload all guns and let all cooldowns recharge, then overwatch for a few turns in case anything heard me earlier" kind of game for HQs myself, not so much the Snipers and Shinobi tactic.

I suggest you rethink shadowstrike - it applies to abilities like saturation fire, iron curtain, as well as grenadier/technical grenades/rockets if you got biggest booms taking them to 100% critical on that initial explosion....it is easily one of the BEST awc perks. I think it just needs to be cheaper. It's a really long and expensive project, so I was expecting it to be a 'squad upgrade', rather than just another one-off project. Reduce the project cost and time, and it'd likely feel better.

Personally, I think it's better to show all the options. IIRC, a soldiers AWC list doesn't show up until they get a class (because it has to know which abilities to ban from the list), so you can't plan based on that. If the only justification is because some abilities are too powerful... well yah, ...

Psi abilities hit chance is calculated similarly to weapon accuracy, actually. Your "aim" is the psi offence start, each ability has an innate bonus (insanity has +30), and the enemy "defense" is their will. So yes, you're in general really inaccurate because of how those number...
