What exactly is the effect on vigilance if you complete lib3 but do not take on the network tower? Does exposing this mission say give a flat +1 vig a week? Does it add say 5 vig but this will decrease with time?

I'm honestly finding the stealth missions more useful when the timer is low more. On occasion if I lack manpower I might send some stealth teams to do missions with 6+ days, but in general I send the stealth teams for 3-4 day missions. They can easily infiltration to 200% and make things much easier...

Try evacuating from a rendez-vous mission, and compare the # of rebels before and after. You will find that some rebels are gone. Those are the faceless. I have personally done this in the game. One simple solution is simply to require a minimum infiltration % to attempt the mission. Say 50%. I've been playing on Veteran with my own rule of not doing a supply raid unless I hit at least 50%. You can skip the rendez-vous missions. Simply drop an evac flare, wait until it arrives, then leave. The faceless will be gone after you do this. You lose the chance at loot, but it's still a better outcome since faceless on jobs will actively sabotage any job you put them on and lower the threshold...

Aborting Rendez-Vous Still Eliminates Faceless

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but when I aborted a Rendez-vous the two faceless in my haven disappeared. It does make sense though, and I could've simply deduced who were the faceless by the names of the rebels who showed up vs anyone still left in the haven.

It sounds like the spirit of LW2Dark Events is to emulate the LW1 navigator upgrades, which from what I recall were generally uncontroversial (outside of tactical sense heavy floater leaders). I personally really enjoyed the navigators and general alien progression in LW1, and I suspect most players...

Though the range was nerfed, it can still be a very strong weapon. A good flamethrower ambush is devastating.

It was definitely healing my soldier in combat, not just reducing wound time. Unfortunately I have not been diligent about preserving saves so I cannot offer you one.

In the future I will try to remember to save off some files in case I run into this or other possible bugs.

For the QOL changes, any chance of adding a modifier to the game animation speed to the default menu UI? It can have some options like 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x speeds.

Smartmacrophages supposed to heal?

I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but the combat implant smartmacrophages seemed to auto-heal one of my soldiers, and the odd part was that the UI seemed to show him healing every time he was attacked.

He had a medkit equipped.

It's been quite a while since I played vanilla, so I don't remember this. Plus there was so much alpha-striking that I can't even remember if I ever saw an alien hunker.

Flanking Does Not Cancel Hunker Defense Bonus

When you flank an enemy that hunkered, they lose their cover bonus but retains the +30 defense from hunkering. This leads to very odd situations where flank shots are only 20%, and even point blank shots are 40-50%.
