Well, yeah. Sorry. Kinda figured that was a given.
I thought the OP's idea was if it could be turned off/on easily so you didn't have to change a bunch of files back and forth when checking out the differences.
Changing it mid-campaign would be a very bad idea.

Hellweave currently is described as having "a chance to set them aflame" but that chance is listed as 100% in the stats. Probably makes more sense to say "Hellweave sets them aflame" if that's the case.

I'm not sure if nexusmod installs support it, but if you install mods through the steam workshop, the launcher has a section labed "mods" that allows you to select which mods are active when you start up the game. Makes it quick and easy to turn the mod off/on.

AWC perks are assigned upon promotion to Squaddie, not upon creation. You can confirm this by either having the AWC built (or revealing AWC perks with an ini edit) and having a rookie ready to promote. They'll get different abilities each time, even if they roll up the same class.

Oh shit. You can detatch weapon mods in Long War? I've been selling them off for supplies because I figured the basic ones would be replaced eventually and I could manage without em. If I can use 'em and then sell em.... that's very nice to know.

Seems to be a bug, but tagging a target with the Frost Bomb removes any disorient effects on them. This can be problematic if they thaw on the next turn.
It also removes burning, but that's probably intentional.
