I find it funny that in vanilla XCOM 2 psio ops were the most powerful class, but in LW2 they're garbage. Wasted opportunity, hopefully they get buffed.

The Marksman Rifle was so so good on Scouts. The Carbines were nearly necessary on Rookies. The LMG was good for suppressing at longer ranges, though i have to admit i used the SAW more. The lib missions have 2 - 3 strength above the normal regional strength, so that's why you're seeing more enemies. As for the boost, i dunno why the display didnt change.

Danger Close (Bonus 2 tile radius) + Lockdown (+15 aim on targets that move through suppression) + elite hair trigger (+15 aim on reaction shots) + area suppression = a shut down pod that that the gunner gets a shot on for no penalty whenever they move. Pretty nice.

Definitely. Magnetic weapons don't cost that much more than laser weaponry, and the difference in damage is substantial. The Invasion Mission

Middle of August, everyone has Lasers and Predator Armor, 2 SPARKS (1 overwatch focused, other heavy weapon focused) about 4 levels in each, bunch of Tech Sergeants, Psi soldiers but only a level in each. How scared should I be? I heard this mission is pretty difficult.
