I liked LW1's alien perk system a lot better because I could at least go around F1ing each enemy that I had autopsied and check their perks with no issue. No guesswork on who rolled what, as long as I could get vision of them before engaging. As far as I know, I cannot do that in LW2. Here you go! ...

If you have a displayed 73% to hit, then you have a 63% chance of doing at least 3 damage. You also have an 83% chance of doing at least 1, which can be very relevant dealing with foes who just wouldn't die to the previous attack. This is just unnecessarily complicated. To add here, any perk that works with squadsight REQUIRES you to have squadsight for it to work in that range.

I agree with you. On paper it sounds like there is such grand variance that adds so much to the game. For what's worth the information the screen displays is the finalized value with the exception of the graze band on the accuracy.

It probably would help of psi ops weren't level throttled and you had some indication of how many levels they actually got and just need tank time.
This way you can just decide when to stop interrupting training with missions and plop them in the tank for a while.

AWC will not in fact award a perk that is already in their skill tree. I'm curious to see how that may change in 1.2. They get super hard really fast on legend. I peaked in a network tower mission on legend in october in a strength 10 advent region (this is about average at this stage in the game for regions you have done missions in), and holy smokes...21 hp elite officers with 1 armor pip....scouts with 100 aim....
