It's possible the ufopaedia has been updated since last I checked it, but if it hasn't, it isn't telling the full story regarding Will - all soldiers, in addition to the small amount of Will granted by their class, gain 4-12 points of Will at every level.

No skill requires a specific type of weapon. This is not correct. I believe post-liberation missions are also supposed to be downgraded to ADVENT Strength 1, though I don't know how that interacts with Supply Raids, which normally will use the strength of the source region, if it is higher than the destination.
