Kills are now worth 100% of a kill (lol) point and Wet Work doubles that to 2x. Each MissionXP is at a 5.8x multiplier, so a mission with 9 enemies and a squad of 3 would get each squad member 17.4 kills worth of exp base. It's probably worth taking now, at least. Now that lower infiltration means higher effective alert/strength levels, it doesn't surprise me that there's crazy-strong boss pods when you under-infiltrate. It's a little rough encountering the first time, but it's easy enough to adapt to in the future.

Fighting 4-unit pods was all you did in 1.2. I've seen far more variety in what I've encountered on ExLight Guerrilla Ops in 1.3 already than I did in 1.2.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying 1.3 because I didn't enjoy stealthing every mission and bring reasonable squads to every mission I don't intend to stealth through.

Stealth as it currently is in 1.2 is broken because it gives you high rewards for zero gear/soldier investment and low risk. The goal in 1.3 is for stealth to give you medium rewards for medium gear/soldier investment and medium risk. This will inevitably mean making stealth much weaker than it is ...
