The translating job of Long War has a great prestige, wether it's actually paid or not. I could easily get a job as a translator right now, cuz i've added that LW translating job to my curriculum vitae. And it also becomes pretty handy in my current college career as a translator.

Electroshock doubt

How does the MEC's Electroshock thing work exactly when you wanna use it as a stunner? Everytime i use electroshock on an alien who has 3 of HP or less, it dies, so i am wondering.

Game crashes upon startup, error code 41. Validated game cache files, redownloaded some files. Got back to vainilla. Jeez... Either Firaxis launched a patch or... by just reinstalling Long War is okay. What do you guys think? EDIT: Realized i never opened the game ever since i upgraded my Windows 10...

My questionb is: Most of all of the gameplay altering mods have localization files too?

Did you had only one crash? Because if it CTDs first time, it means that it's assimilating to the game, and further starts should work fine.

All i can answer to help is 1, whose answer is... yes.

He is not only inmune to acid, but also regenerates health over turns and has also a big chance of activating his telekinetic field and bounce back the damage, even if you miss the shot. And also... he has a big armor.

Seriously, these are normal flashbang grenades, the same as in Counter Strike. Ergo, they should disorient humans too.

Which takes me to... why EXALT soldiers can be disoriented too and XCOM soldiers do not? Weird, they are aliens! O.O

Flashbang grenades does not affect allies. Why? They are just common flashbang grenades. Unless... they were some type of new flashbang grenades that only affect the aliens' cornea.
