Predator VS EXO
Looking at these two armors, it seems to me that EXO is a landslide winner. Yes, you lose the one armor, and get one less HP, but being able to bring a Shredder Gun to battle is a huge plus. Give that it has decent range, shreds armor, and can clear cover, it seems foolish not to equip all your guys...

I have looked at Lethal, and thought that it seems like an ideal perk for a ranger, who tends to have high aim and shoots a lot. Would that be OP? Assaults have it available, but it is competing with Street Sweeper. For rangers, it seems like decent competition for Killzone and Rupture for a soldier...

I think it is excellent. It makes stealth a lot more sensible, and you no longer have to be afraid that the one spot on the rooftop you go to just happens to be in range of some random mook, and you get spotted. What decides exactly when they get to use Laser for example? DO they just take from a pool of your own items? But I recall seeing rebels with Laser shotguns, even when I never built one.

We basically have two options here, either make Advent NOT attack bound units, OR, make the tongue pull not work against Full Cover and/or Hunker down. I really hope they don't just nerf them. By making EXO and WAR more expensive/better, it would also be an indirect nerf to those shred guns, because you couldn't field them as quickly. Tbh, Shredstorm cannon should only be mountable on a WAR suit. That, combined with the WAR suit having better stats...

But what do I do to "just use" these perks, without bringing the rest of the mod over?

I think that aliens SHOULD fire at a bound enemy, since that is the smart thing to do. That being said, I am all in favor of the mod that makes the tongue grab not work against Full Cover. Also, a soldier should be immune while hunkering down, for basically the same reason. Having a hunkering solide...

So I wanted to post this thread for people to pool ideas about how to make more balanced and interesting classes. Some of the perk choices didn't sit too well with me, so I started digging around the perks trees. So far, I have given Shinobi Combat Fitness instead of Serial, since I don't understand...
