I'm wiping all XCOM 2 files off my machine.... Right off the top of my head, if you're getting a load error loading a save game, either a game file or the save is likely corrupted and the game can't finish and has recognised it. Can you load any other save? I'd keep the save and remove and reinstal...

If you're not on an Ironman campaign, I'd say save first then try to run the Data Leak mission. It'll be very very hard and you may need the exact right team to succeed, even with wounds and casualties. Try it once or twice. If you can't get through it, then you can reload and go with the Retaliation.

Could this be due to activating 2 pods simultaneously? And the Kill Zone only gets shots at one of pods, whichever one activates "first"?

Alas the old XCOM inventory system got dropped for streamlining in the new XCOM games, despite it being closer to reality. In an infantry section, everyone carries belts for the LMG. Removing the -1 mobility from special ammo sounds like an easy mod. I've also heard of a special ammo "slot"...

The main draw of XCOM is that it gives you a lot of ways to mitigate the randomness, or play around it. With starting soldiers this can be done by speccing them into different skill trees, so it's not an issue. I still think the randomness of the soldiers, especially the tendency to have crap stats...

The bug isn't fixed for sure unless you have the mod installed when you started your campaign. It may be fixed after the fact. In your case, I'd install the mod and then fix your existing Psi Ops with console commands.meiam wrote:Psi ops created post 1.3 should be okay right?

If it's worth it, you could put in the highest rank soldier, preferably Officer, you can afford to spare. It'll take a long time but he will eventually recruit more rebels. It may be better for you to focus on other zones as it will take months.

ADVENT reinforcements spawn close to the centre of mass of XCOM at the start of XCOM's previous turn. But they should have ramped up to pods of 8 rather quickly. You must have had a good squad, perhaps max number of soldiers with good gear.

just realized i was babbling so i'll cut to the chase: my changes to the overhaul.ini namely the weight of ammo and grenades to zero got erased... Is this something I did or something I can avoid??
