I've flagged it as a bug a couple of times, but the coders say it's a vanilla issue and not something they can do much about. It's annoying, I know.

The instant trooper autopsy is unpredictable. I've had it unlock at 20 corpses, but I've also had it fail to unlock at 20 corpses, and I've never figured out why.

Supply raid strength is the higher of the source region and the destination region. So make sure to check the activity level before you queue one up - just because the region's strength is low doesn't mean the Supply Raid's strength will be!

I find that my primary source of elerium is the black market (20-30'ish a month) + supply raids + troop columns (50-60 a month). I don't understand why saph7 billed the S&G as the primary source of elerium, can someone explain how S&G is the primary source of elerium? I'm kind of flattered ...

I've used one in a couple of campaigns now. They're pretty good. Worse than DfA/RT sharpshooters on timerless missions, but better in any situation where you don't have time to scout out the map and pick out a perfect vantage point.

You're definitely not the only one! I found them very difficult in early 1.3. Main thing that I learned is that there's a VERY significant difference between an Ex Light and a Very Light with S&Gs.
