Conceal should be reworked so it only turns you invisible again if no enemies can see you at the begging of your turn. Active xcom rebel soldiers in the faceless reveal missions can definitely be hiding faceless. It's mentioned in the 1.1 bug fix patch notes. DFA does seem to be the superior choice. Both snap shot and rapid targeting pale by comparison. But what would be interesting though is if snap shot and rapid targeting could be in the same build. Then a sniper could holo target and then shoot. Or move and shoot. Or holo twice. And the pistol perks ...

What do you guys think of the 1.2 psi? I'm having a hard time finding motivation making a new campaign just to test this, as essentially 1.2 was hotfixes that don't change the way I play/enjoy the game. It doesn't look like they addressed balance at all with this patch. So the psi would be the same...

I find pistols are useful on rangers too, as rangers are so likely to run out of ammo. If an alien has low health left, finishing them off with a pistol is usually as effective as a gun. It allows for the ranger to shoot more often.

I would like to see psi soliders being more tactical. Have there be more synergy with other team members. Like having basic Advent troops be highly susceptible to psi effects, but an advent officer blocks that and raises the will of the advents around them. Kill the officer then suddenly it is easy ...

I would rather those perks not clutter up the interface. Couldn't all those automatic first level officer perks just be combined into one? Just have one perk called 'Officer'.

I really wish Commisar allowed us to knock out the troop instead of killing him/her. Other wise I will always attempt to save the solider even if it puts the other ones at risk. And saving the soldier is usually easy. It just takes a flash bang.

Because we use grenades for blowing up cover. The damage is always too low to consider using it as damaging weapons. But if it scales with other critical perks that makes it sound more interesting.

No. smg's are probably underpowered in that people use them as boots of speed and not a weapon :P So people don't think they need to upgrade. And it is fine if flashbangs stay relevant through out the game. They can be given as a perk after all, so they sort of need to, just like smoke grenades. But...

There are mods in the workshop that increase the range of names, nicknames, mission names, etc. These are some must have mods where there is no reason not to use them.

Allowing the timer to scale according to map size, would be a real nice feature. But balancing with long war is probably harder then that. Stealth must be super easy on large maps as their would be less enemy density.

It seems to me that flashbangs are among the most powerful items in the game. They can solve almost any and every problem out there. It probably cannot be changed because their wasn't any config settings created for it.

Anyway it does feel it becomes obsolete once lasers roll out. It really should have an aim that is competitive with a lazer weapon with a scope attached to it. It should have a minimum of +15 aim.
