Hi
I have a slightly annoying problem, some of my ability icons are blacked out on all classes.
So unless I hover over them it's impossible to tell what they are.
The abilities in this particular screenshot are:
6 - Rocket Launcher
7 - Frag Grenade
8 - Flashbang
9 - Flamethrower
I am 100% certain that it's a mod that is the culprit, I just can't figure out which one. Anyone else had this problem?
These are the mods I'm currently using:
Overwatch All/others
Free reload
Evac all
additional icons
quiet bradford
gotcha (flank review evolved)
stop wasting my time
instant avenger menus
tacticalUI kill counter
better tactical zoom out
cinematic rapid fire
stabilize me

It's free reload. I had the same problem.

I'd suggest picking up Cost-Based Ability Colours instead. It incorporates the same tweak as Free Reload and is LW2-compatible now.

LW2 incorporates its own version of Cost Based Ability Colors, just FYI. Not sure what combining them would do.

Somewhat similar-but-slightly differently.
By default, CBAC colourcodes the button border to the action requirement and-or turn-ending-ness, and center icon to the type; for most classes, a standard shot is the same yellowish colour as a dashmove - but for a ranger, light'em'up is the blueish tone of a non-turn-ending standard move. Any free action (evac, support grenade launch after rapid deployment, etc.) is green.
All icons have the same generic colour unless they're an objective task (e.g. Evac, Hack Objective) or a psionic ability.
Conversely, LW2 just colours the entire button by its activation cost and type.
As they don't seem to noticeably conflict (any more) it's up to personal taste as to which you prefer- you can customize either system however you want in their various configuration files, too.

Free action green
1 action doesn't end turn white
1 action ends turn blue/cyan
2 actions ends turn yellow
Objective gold/orange
It's a bit more muted than the ability colors mod. Personal preferences as to which you want to use, though the ability colors mod could cause bugs from conflicts ofc. Sounds like that's resolved though.
