Regional Attract Attention?

There are missions where I can destroy Advent monuments to attract attention. Is there an advantage to attracting Advent attention to a region?

yeah you can hit their reinforcements, and you can pull their units away from other parts of the world, and liberating a region removes 5 advent strength, so if a region is below that and you want to liberate it, garbing attention is a good thing.

Not so sure about using Attention missions on places to liberate. You'll have a very hard time getting the HQ mission done without hitting 5 Stength anyway. And if you somehow can get an HQ mission with less than 5 strength, the HQ mission isn't easy, so that just means you've made a difficult mission easier, which is a reward in it's own right.

Supply Raids are awesome though, and only occur when troops are moving from one region to another, which Attention missions can help with. So there is that.
