As probably everyone else i am massively hyped for the upcoming LW2. I have one question though:
XCom 2 Vanilla handled difficulty in a strange way in that Legendary felt quite differently compared to the other difficulty settings due to the fact that the "Marathon" 2nd wave option from EU was more or less included in it. Playing Commander compared to Legendary feels not just easier due to better (hidden) hit chances etc., but is also noticeably faster (which results in XCom outteching advent earlier in the game).
Will LW2 handle difficulty/gamelength similar to XCom 2 Vanilla, or more like EU/EW (where the lower difficulties dont "speed up" the game as much).
Will the time scaling of difficulties be different compared to Vanilla?

No, the durations should all be roughly similar

Is there a plan to add marathon option to Long War 2? One of the things I enjoyed most about the original and XCOM 1 Long War is the option to play much much longer campaigns. I think original xcom game I had completed 450 missions before my memory card went corrupt on playstation.
