I know there are mods like Commanders Choice, which let us choose our rookie classes, but these mods tend to clash with Not Created Equal. They also don't seem to be very fair, as there are no consequences to changing classes.
I was thinking of an alternate solution, one that seems a bit more fair. What if the GTS (or the AWC) had a soldier slot that let's you train a squaddie of one class to any other class, and it would take a week.
Bonus idea: If we could retrain ANYONES class, but anyone ranked higher than Squaddie would be demoted back down to squaddie. It's a harsh respec system, but it would be useful in some circumstances.
