I was wondering about the AWC Perk Trees for soldiers. The pistol skills are all the same I think looking at the config file but the Offensive and Defensive perks I'm not sure of. Are they randomized or are specific ones preset for each class?

They are mostly randomized within the power tiers, although if you dig through that file you'll see that certain perks are restricted for certain classes.
