Heavy Weapons?

Howdy, I was wondering if the chaingun is counted as a heavy weapon? Would be a really awesome bonus for my gunner to have this skill!
If you mean the one they carry as a primary, no.
"Heavy Weapons" are the ones mounted on the EXO and WAR suits and the Technical's rocket flamer.
