Does burning deactivate Lighting Reflexes?

I've just met a great archon with 35 defense and lightning reflexes. I set him on fire, retreated and overwatched with most of the squad (wasn't aware of Lightning Reflexes). Archon charged, I got the LR notification, but all of my reaction shots (and a slash) hit or at least grazed, killing the archon. Is my suspicion correct or was it just extremely lucky?

I'd guess lucky, Lightning Reflexes doesn't guarantee misses on OW fire afterall. It seems weird to disable passive talents (I can't think of any that ever are besides Lone Wolf), so I wouldn't guess at that being the answer.

I think so. Also the disoriented effect will disable lighting reflexes. I realize it after I tried to clear the overwatch by moving my disoriented assault.

Disorient disables a number of DE perks. Having trouble hitting a Tac Sense Muton? Try a flashbang first.
