I’ve been playing Long War 2 for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been really stable. No crashes. Yesterday I experienced a crash within a mission. I was able to reload and continue, but experienced several more crashes within missions. It then began to crash when saving a game, or attempting to reload a game. I’ve gone through all of the troubleshooting steps that I can find on this forum, and I’m still unable to load a save file. I can start a new game, but it crashes when I attempt a game save.
1) The version of Long War is V1.2
2) The platform I am playing on is PC/Windows 10.
3) All other mods have been unsubscribed.
4) The program crashes when I attempt to either load a save game, or to save a new game to file.
5) I have regenerated the config directory.
6) I have deleted the vanilla game and reloaded it.
7) I have unsubscribed from Long War 2 and re-subscribed.
8) I have removed all save games from \Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\SaveData.
9) I have verified integrity of game files.
10) I do have save game files available.
