Kubikiri Still Badly Broken

This thing doesnt work at all. I had a guaranteed crit (100%) against a partially damaged muton elite with no armor (shredded beforehand), and the Kubikiri brought him down to 2HP. Yes, the crit went off. And because this is LW2 of course, on the next turn he in turn crit one of my grenadiers who was behind full cover (no flanking whatsoever) and killed him lul. Minor detail. Anyway, please fix the Kubikiri.

Bump. I still make crit snipers because of the damage they deal, but ive stopped taking kubikiri because it has never worked.

Damn... With balancing in 1.2 mostly geared against the player (notable exception of 12 invasion squads), I was really counting on the flamethrower range bugfix and this kubikiri bugfix to play with.
