Letting the Avenger Gather Supplies & Recruit?

So, we know that the Avenger contributes about 4 rebels worth on Intel, but what if there was an option to let it do something else? You may be in a situation where you don't really need to find missions, or you are in greater need of supplies or rebels. Could it be possible to allow the Avenger to "pick jobs"?

I could see recruit being an interesting option, not so sure I'd care about supplies. It would be helpful especially when you have a haven that is low on rebels and needs some help rebuilding.

Though I think this would be the type of thing I'd rather see as a mod.
